The company is well-known for providing genuine pumps from Grundfos, Pedrollo, and DAB, installing water pumping and irrigation systems, drilling boreholes, constructing swimming pools, and supplying solar equipment and engines.
Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the company’s supply chain strategy, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes. The role involves coordination across departments, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with local and international procurement regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
- Plan and direct procurement activities for efficient operations.
- Procurement Management:
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.
- Manage procurement planning for branches and field teams.
- Inventory Control:
- Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum reorder levels (MRLs).
- Oversee inventory planning and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.
- Schedule evaluations to ensure vendor compliance with pricing contracts.
- Operations Support:
- Coordinate transportation and logistics with vendors.
- Track and manage assets, including service and maintenance records.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline processes.
- Develop tracking systems for procurement and logistics.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare reports and presentations to provide insights to management.
- Share procurement tracking updates with relevant teams weekly.
- Compliance & Accountability:
- Enforce anti-corruption policies and handle complaints appropriately.
- Ensure company assets are properly labeled, recorded, and managed.
- Training & Supervision:
- Provide training to the team on asset management and procurement.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Logistics or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in supply chain or procurement management.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory and asset management.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
