Job Overview:

Deloitte Uganda is offering an exciting opportunity for six (6) dynamic Audit Team Interns to join its team in Kampala. As an intern, you will support the Audit team in delivering audit engagements while gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of auditing. Main Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply Deloitte standards, procedures, and methodologies in assigned tasks.
  • Ensure assigned work is completed within agreed timeframes and standards.
  • Use available resources efficiently to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Report issues that may affect the quality of work or timelines to your manager.
  • Manage information security risks following Deloitte policies.
  • Maintain ongoing development and knowledge in your role.
  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, graduated in 2023 or 2024.
  • At least Upper Second-Class Honours.
  • Minimum of 16 points at ‘A’ Level or equivalent.
  • First Grade at ‘O’ Level with at least a credit 3 in English and Mathematics.
  • A recognized accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Availability from December 2024 to May 2025.
  • Must be a Ugandan citizen or eligible to work in Uganda.
