Job Description:
Dr. Kasenene – Wellness Clinic, in partnership with FIIINDIT, is seeking a creative and talented Videographer to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for storytelling and the technical skills to produce high-quality video content that will captivate our audience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Edit raw footage into engaging content for various formats, including social media, online platforms, advertisements, and broadcast television.
- Storytelling: Collaborate with directors, producers, and team members to understand project visions and craft narratives using editing techniques that engage viewers.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects) to edit, color correct, and enhance audio.
- Creative Input: Provide creative input on video concepts, including suggestions for graphics, animations, and music that align with project goals.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain a library of video assets, ensuring files are properly labeled and archived for easy retrieval.
- Quality Control: Review final video edits for consistency and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring high-quality output before delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, providing progress updates and participating in team meetings to ensure a cohesive final product.
- Feedback Incorporation: Listen to and incorporate feedback from directors and clients, making revisions to improve video content.
- Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and editing techniques to continually improve your skills and contribute new ideas to the team.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certificate in Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia Arts, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, self-learners can share links to tutorials or industry professionals they have followed.
- Experience: 6 months – 3 years of experience in video editing or a related role. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve). Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Creative Skills: A strong sense of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and visual composition, with experience in color grading and sound design.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure quality control and adherence to brand standards.

- Work Environment: This role may involve working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Flexibility in working hours may be required.
- Portfolio Submission: Candidates must submit a portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous work, with various styles and formats of video editing.
