Job title: Human Resource Interns

Location: Kampala
Job roles:
- Update the Human Resource Information System (soft copy) by entering data into it for tracking staff data and producing reports for administrative decision-making.
- Maintain and update staff records and information on personal files (hard copy).
- Plan and implement day-to-day administrative and staff welfare issues.
- Receive and update status reports of the Human Resource activities.
- Follow up and document Performance Appraisals, Individual Staff Development and training plans.
- Manage the staff attendance register and extract information critical for decision-making.
- Implement and monitor staff induction and orientation programs and Job postings of new staff.
- Prepare and disburse temporary staff contracts in line with departmental and policies and procedures.
- Prepare schedules and provide support for interviews.
- Requisition and collect office items from the store as need be for the HR department.
Minimum qualifications:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Degree in Human resource management, Organisational psychology and any other related field.
- Experience in usage of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and internet applications such as E-mail, Google documents, and Google sheets.
- Working knowledge of Ugandan labor laws.
