Job Opportunity: Fleet Artisan

Key Purpose Statement
The Fleet Artisan will be responsible for ensuring the availability of the fleet by performing top-quality mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. The role involves carrying out all mechanical repairs in accordance with CCBA fleet policies to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance tasks, repairs, preventive maintenance, and address breakdowns for all fleet vehicles.
- Monitor fleet operations daily, weekly, and monthly, maintaining records according to TCCMS and MDWT requirements.
- Assess maintenance requests and ensure all repairs are documented via work orders.
- Investigate breakdowns using the 5WHY principle.
- Maintain running checklists and ensure proper filing.
- Ensure that trucks, forklifts, motorcycles, and other vehicles are lubricated, greased, and tightened to CLIT standards.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Fleet Manager.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Education:
- Minimum Requirement: MVP part II, Diploma, or equivalent experience in Auto Mechanics or related automotive courses.
- Added Advantage: Advanced computer skills, experience with SAP and Excel.
Experience:
- Knowledge of Actros, Atego, Mercedes, Isuzu, and Toyota trucks, as well as diagnostics and battery management.
- At least 2 years of experience working with light, medium, and heavy delivery vehicles.
Competencies:
- Excellent teamwork and innovation skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and willingness to be developed.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy focus.
- Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to meet key targets and deliver results.
