Job Opportunity: Process Artisan Electrical

Key Purpose Statement
The Process Artisan Electrical is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing electrical systems and equipment within the production process to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate process areas following work instructions and usage standards.
- Perform quality checks as per quality control work practices.
- Record and analyze waste trends, identifying issues or opportunities.
- Monitor and improve process performance against set targets.
- Respond rapidly to upstream or downstream process triggers causing stoppages.
- Apply 5S principles for housekeeping and adhere to safe work practices.
- Conduct routine maintenance and identify trends that may indicate underlying issues.
- Perform in-depth cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machines as per schedules.
- Execute maintenance activities as per the planner’s schedule.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirement: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Added Advantage: Proficiency in computer and technical skills, physical strength, and auditory/visual acuity.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience in an FMCG environment.
- Knowledge of equipment functionality and packaging processes in a production area.
Competencies:
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Diagnostic ability and knowledge of electrical maintenance.
- Proficiency in PLC systems and equipment optimization.
- Result and execution-driven with resilience and energy.
- Ability to conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Commitment to quality and technical standards.
