Job Overview:
EBC Consulting is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to expand distribution reach by developing new channel partners based on local market insights. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the liquor industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Management:

  • Provide product USP, pricing, and schemes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support Territory Development Officers in Uganda for secondary sales and business development.
  • Ensure sales enablers (e.g., POPs, samplings) are provided to build brand volumes.
  • Increase brand/pack numeric and weighted distribution across channels.

Business Development:

  • Regularly interact with channels and teams to generate desired sales volumes.
  • Identify opportunities for improving retail sales.
  • Collaborate with channel partners on brand development initiatives and sales enablers.
  • Explore local events for brand association to improve image and sales.

Planning & Management:

  • Develop and implement monthly tour plans for yourself and team members.
  • Identify new markets, dealers, partners, and recommend business development plans.
  • Plan and execute below-the-line (BTL) activities in coordination with marketing, sales, and service teams.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide strategic input to management.
  • Prepare sales forecasts by brand, pack, channel, and area.

Team Management:

  • Ensure the team adheres to work timings, report submissions, and maintains professionalism.
  • Identify training needs and organize relevant training programs.
  • Implement go-to-market strategies to achieve sales targets.

Specific Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience: 12–15 years in sales, preferably in the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong expertise in the liquor industry and ability to drive sales processes for results.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels.
  • Target Achievement: Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Nationality: Ugandan National required.
  • Gender: Male candidates preferred.

Educational Requirements:

  • A graduate degree or MBA is required.
  • Must be a subject matter expert with strong command over sales concepts and strategies.

Work Hours: 8 hours per day.
