Job Summary:
Street Child is seeking detail-oriented individuals to collect data across its various programs. The Enumerator will be responsible for administering and entering all program-related baseline, midterm, and end-line surveys, starting from data collection to data entry. Enumerators will work in the field under the guidance and supervision of the Research Analyst.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct data collection activities in assigned schools, including administering surveys, assessments, and observations.
- Ensure accurate and ethical data collection, adhering to Street Child’s Safeguarding Policy.
- Collaborate effectively with the program team and provide regular progress updates.
- Report any safeguarding concerns or challenges faced during data collection.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Education, Social Sciences, etc.).
- Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices for efficient data entry and uploading.
- Must have completed university studies 1-2 years ago and have experience in data collection or research, preferably in the education sector.
- Resident within the preferred district.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and the local language:
- Kiryandongo: Luo, Juba Arabic
- Palabek: Acholi, Juba Arabic
- Kyaka II: Swahili
- Kyangwali: Swahili
