Job Title: Intern
Duty station: Kampala
Organization: Sycamore International School (SIS)
Role and Responsibilities
This is a full-time internship role at SIS. The intern will work on-site at the school in Kampala and will be responsible for various tasks, including:
- Supporting teachers with lesson planning
- Helping to plan extracurricular activities
- Assisting with administrative tasks
- Supporting students in their learning.
- The intern will also be able to engage in professional development opportunities and gain valuable experience in an international school setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting
- Commitment to education and a desire to work with students
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and to take on new challenges
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, or related field
- Experience living or working abroad is a plus
