Job Summary

The Stores Officer will manage stock records, ensure accurate stock availability reports in the ERP system, maintain monthly reports, and organize finished goods in the store. The role involves direct interaction with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient stock handling, quality management, and compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Management:
  • Handle receiving and issuing finished goods, adhering to set procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming deliveries, cross-check against invoices, and verify realistic delivery dates.
  • Inspect stock items on arrival, report damages, and document product use or damages.
• Warehouse Organization:
  • Ensure proper stacking and labeling of items in the finished goods store.
  • Interface with end-users, customers, and delivery personnel to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Team Collaboration and Safety:
  • Attend supply chain meetings, participate in inventory control, and uphold safety standards.
  • Supervise contractors handling premium products, ensuring quality and adherence to protocols.
• Quality Management:
  • Engage with EBC’s Quality Management System and commit to quality objectives within the Stores section.
• ERP and SAP Integration:
  • Utilize ERP systems for inventory management and interface with SAP as the stores team’s designated super user.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Diploma in a relevant field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in a related role.
• Skills:
  • Inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, with knowledge of quality control practices.
