Job Summary:
We are seeking to recruit a Production and Business Development Officer to support the technical management, supervision, and control of production processes across various sections. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality products and managing business development initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with management to implement objectives, policies, and procedures to meet deadlines.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage production schedules, addressing issues promptly.
• Estimate, negotiate, and agree on budgets and timelines with clients and managers.
• Assess resource requirements and set quality control standards.
• Oversee production processes, re-negotiate schedules if necessary.
• Meet client expectations for production requests and orders.
• Ensure high-quality and timely production while managing quality control.
• Supervise, motivate, and evaluate production personnel; identify training needs.
• Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation procedures, and schedules in the production section.
• Maintain hygienic standards and steward resources effectively.
• Estimate production costs and participate in budget preparation.
• Lead business development initiatives and participate in grants acquisition.
• Manage the maintenance and repair of production equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation protocols for food and equipment handling.
• Prepare and submit management and performance reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, or a relevant discipline; technical knowledge is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and project management tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Integrity, confidentiality, trust, and good work ethics are essential.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
