The company specializes in the importation and distribution of human and veterinary medicines, surgical products, and nutrition formulas. It serves as the Local Technical Representative (LTR) for several manufacturers from Europe and the Middle East.
Job Summary
Goodman International Ltd is seeking to recruit two smart, honest, and qualified Marketing Coordinators to oversee the medical representatives in Uganda. The coordinators will be responsible for managing the field force team, organizing product launches, and supporting promotional activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the team of medical representatives.
- Administer weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Provide the medical representatives with promotional materials and samples.
- Monitor the inventory of promotional materials and request replenishment when needed.
- Track drug expiry dates and ensure accurate reporting.
- Review and respond to donation requests, providing suitable drug details.
- Conduct regular sales analysis, including competitor comparison.
- Gather competitor information on pricing, availability, and market scope.
- Organize and coordinate product launches for new drugs.
- Assist in coordinating Continuous Medical Education (CME) events.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- 2-3 years of experience in administration, preferably in a busy environment in a similar role.
- Strong customer care, organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Conflict resolution and proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP Applications, and Tally.
- Familiarity with sales reports and reporting processes.
- Smart, motivated, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong marketing, presentation, and negotiation skills with initiative.
- Preferred age: 35 years or younger.
