Lugazi Diocese is seeking a Field Coordinator to manage the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of community-based programs, focusing on HIV prevention and care services for adolescents and young people. This role supports adherence to MUWRP and PEPFAR requirements while ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and community collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Implementation:
- Develop annual and quarterly project activity and budget plans in coordination with the Project Management team.
- Guide project teams in creating detailed implementation plans based on yearly objectives.
- Hold regular meetings to review work plans and ensure timely execution of activities.
- Work with community structures and health facilities to develop harmonized linkage, referral, and follow-up systems.
- Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, representing the organization in meetings.
- Ensure efficient execution of intervention strategies to achieve project goals.
- Compile and submit periodic reports, best practices, lessons learned, and success stories for decision-making and planning.
- Support the enrollment, screening, and service layering for adolescent girls and young women (AGYWs) on the program.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:
- Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of project outcomes using partner organizations’ tools and systems.
- Participate in internal meetings to provide field updates and progress reports.
- Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in coordination with Program Coordinators.
- Support analysis and validation of routine program data for implementation and best practices adoption.
- Work with MUWRP and district structures to monitor and report on the DREAMS Program.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in program implementation, human resources, and financial management.
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills, with the ability to create networks.
- Excellent organizational skills, task prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in report writing and IT tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal communication.
- Teamwork experience is an added advantage.
Academic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration, Development, or a related field from a recognized university.
- A postgraduate diploma in project planning and management is an added advantage.
