Operations and Finance Coordinator

Role Overview: The position of Operations and Finance Coordinator at Raising Voices requires a dynamic, experienced professional to oversee operations and finance activities. Based in Kampala, Uganda, this senior role involves strategic leadership, financial oversight, and operational management within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide direction for finance and operations, contribute to organizational strengthening, and uphold organizational values.
- Financial Oversight: Coordinate budgeting, financial procedures, payroll, grant management, and financial reporting.
- Operational Management: Oversee logistics, procurement, HR functions, and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Internal and External Relations: Manage communications with partners, support contract negotiations, and represent Raising Voices in various forums.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Finance, Operations, Business Administration/Management, or related field. Postgraduate degree and professional qualifications are advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in senior operations and finance roles, preferably in the NGO sector, with experience in grants management and compliance.
- Skills: Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, accounting software), financial acumen, effective communication, and leadership abilities.
