Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, is seeking a Fleet Fuel Clerk for its subsidiary in Uganda, based in Kampala. The Fleet Fuel Clerk will report directly to the Fleet and CDE Planner.
Key Purpose Statement:
Manage fuel issuance to the company’s fleet and ensure the cleanliness of the fuel pump, adhering to statutory requirements and ensuring cost-effective fleet product distribution.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise fuel delivery, ensuring truck seals are intact and fuel type/amount is correct before unloading.
- Verify facility fuel tanks pre- and post-delivery to ensure ordered quantity matches the delivery note.
- Ensure delivery vehicles are fully emptied before departing.
- Perform daily fuel quantity checks and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure full compliance with CCBU rules, regulations, policies, and strategies.
- Contribute to the development of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in consultation with the direct supervisor and office management.
- Operate a fuel pump and dispense diesel to specified quantities.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of the fuel dispensing pump.
- Provide accountability for all fuel transactions.
