Summary of Work Environment

Welcoming all guests in the restaurant, ensuring their stay is warm, inviting, and welcoming until bidding them goodbye.

Primary Purpose and Scope of the Job

To usher customers into the restaurant, offer menus, and ensure they are attended to by yourself or the service personnel in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet, greet, and seat all guests in the restaurant.
• Organize and reserve tables for large groups and bookings.
• Maintain clean menus, baby chairs, crockery, and cutlery in takeaway stations.
• Ensure all seated and takeaway guests are attended to.
• Assist the manager and chef in any communications of specials for the day and run outs.
• Ensure necessary orders for proper mis-en-place are given to the manager for ordering.
• Assist in picking takeaway orders via phone.
• Ensure guests’ needs are met throughout the dining experience.
• Contribute to team effort to achieve customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure all guests are seated immediately upon entering the restaurant.
  • Inform every guest about any new specials available in the restaurant.
  • Adhere to laid down company policies on grooming.
  • Tend to special needs guests and requests.
  • Ensure all cleaning cloths are well soaked in sanitizers.
  • Share guests’ feedback with the manager.

• Qualifications

  • Be conversant with the menu.
  • Must have worked in the service department for 2 years and above.
