Job Description:
Uganda’s renewable energy sector has experienced significant growth recently, with over 95% of the country’s electricity generation capacity being supplied by renewable energy, primarily hydropower. Additionally, decentralized renewable energy (DRE) solutions, such as solar home systems, serve 38% out of 58% of national electrification. This sector demonstrates a great capacity to create quality jobs.
UNREEEA, through its network of over 550 renewable energy companies, is implementing the “Renewable Energy Internship Programme.” This program provides 6-month internships (apprenticeships) to final-year students. The initiative aims to equip students passionate about renewable energy and energy efficiency with knowledge and practical experience in various renewable energy technologies and fields.
Internship Details:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic interns in Renewable Energy & Related Courses to train with our member companies under the Renewable Energy Internship Program.
Eligibility:
- Educational Level: Diploma or Degree
- Courses: Pursuing Renewable Energy, Engineering, or Environmental Sciences
- Year: Final Year Students
