Job Description: The Stores Clerk will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining records of stock, and ensuring efficient operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of stock and inventory levels.
- Ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
- Perform regular inventory audits to reconcile stock levels.
- Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and invoices.
- Handle inquiries and requests from staff regarding stock availability.
- Ensure compliance with storage and safety procedures.
- Keep the store clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
- Experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of inventory management software is a plus.
