Job Description: As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for performing assurance and consulting engagements to assess the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of established controls and procedures within the bank. You will identify and assess risks, participate in the design of audit programs, prepare audit reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and auditing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform assurance and consulting engagements to assess controls and procedures.
2. Identify and assess risks for each auditable unit within the bank.
3. Participate in the design of audit programs for existing and new processes, products, and services.
4. Prepare draft audit reports on findings and non-compliance with policies and regulations.
5. Discuss audit findings and recommendations with department managers and obtain agreed actions.
6. Review statutory and regulatory reports.
7. Conduct regular follow-up of open audit findings to ensure adequate implementation.
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and auditing standards.
9. Follow up on issues for closure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in internal auditing is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and auditing standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
