Asili Farms is a fully-mechanized farming company specializing in dual-season production of high-quality maize and soybeans. With operations spanning over 5,000 hectares of land in Western Uganda, we employ conservation agriculture and precision farming techniques to optimize yields sustainably.

Job Summary:
Asili Farms is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Stores Clerk. This role involves managing inventory, receiving and recording stock, and coordinating store operations to ensure efficient supply chain management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing store operations, including the movement of various materials and supplies.
  • Ensuring proper storage and classification of materials.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and reconciling with purchase orders.
  • Coordinating supply chain activities and forecasting needs.
  • Handling storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the premises.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CPIM certification will be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar position.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
