Job Description:
Victoria Forest Resort Ltd invites applications from qualified Ugandans to fill the positions of waiters and waitresses.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
- Multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverages.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Training in food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating guests.
- Taking orders accurately.
- Serving food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
- Upselling and recommending hotel services and products.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handling payments accurately.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
