Your Mission: Your mission will be to lead the implementation of a new initiative under our Female Founders Growth Program. SHONA is planning to launch a new initiative under our Female Founders Growth Program, focusing on identifying and supporting female-driven businesses in WASH, climate-smart food production, agriculture, climate change, nutrition, digitalisation, or skills development sectors in Uganda and Kenya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design of the initiative
- Lead the implementation of the initiative
- Lead the Monitoring and Evaluation of the initiative
Program Design:
- Curriculum design and tool creation
- Workplan development and updating
- Documenting and reviewing program systems and processes
- Budget review and management
Program Implementation:
- Entrepreneur/Business Recruitment
- Procurement and budget management
- Business diagnostics
- Program logistics coordination
- Development of program materials and concept notes
- Stakeholder communications
- Account management and entrepreneur engagement
- Planning workshops and webinars
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Data collection, analysis, and report writing
- Entrepreneur database maintenance
- Collecting impact stories
- Supporting SHONA’s overall efforts as needed
Person Specification: Education/Work Experience:
- Masters in Business Administration or related fields
- 3+ years working with SMEs in Agriculture (an advantage)
- 5+ years Project Management experience, preferably with Institutional Donors or Development Finance Institutions
Desirable:
- Certificate in International Project Management
- Experience working with Institutional Donors or Development Finance Institutions in SME development
