Job Title: Child Sponsorship Systems Officer (Data Entry Jobs)

Located in Buikwe, Uganda, this role is pivotal in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of child sponsorship operations, contributing directly to the wellbeing of children in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Child Sponsorship Systems: This involves managing technical and business processes within sponsorship systems, ensuring data quality, and providing support for system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Coordination of Child Sponsorship Operations: You’ll be responsible for updating child data, managing communications, and ensuring all sponsorship operations indicators meet quality standards.
  • Manage Communication and Sponsor Relations: This includes coordinating communication between sponsors and sponsored children, managing sponsor visits, and ensuring compliance with sponsorship standards.
  • Management of Sponsorship Initiatives: Implementing and managing partnership initiatives such as CDPCs, Sponsorship 2.0, and others, including training and mentoring staff on these initiatives.
  • Child and Adult Safe Guarding: Ensuring the safety and protection of sponsored children by monitoring wellbeing, managing consent forms, and adhering to child and adult safe guarding policies.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Education: A University Degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Library and Information, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in data entry, analysis, presentation, and database management.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer applications like MS Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, MS Access, and data analysis tools is essential.
  • Personal: Must be a committed Christian, demonstrating integrity and a commitment to World Vision’s values.
