Machine Operator – Sachet Machine (Fresher A’ Level Jobs)

Key Duties and Responsibilities: As a Machine Operator for the Sachet Machine, your responsibilities include:
- Setting up, adjusting, and operating sachet packaging machines according to production schedules and specifications.
- Planning and executing preventive maintenance of production machines with assistance from the Engineering team.
- Operating production machines efficiently to minimize wastage.
- Controlling material wastage and promoting recycling.
- Ensuring that the products produced meet quality standards.
- Adhering to health and safety practices.
- Overseeing housekeeping around the machine area.
- Verifying materials provided to ensure correct amounts and appropriate materials.
- Regularly inspecting machines to ensure they are in good operational condition.
- Detecting and reporting any faults to the Plant Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- A Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education with a bias in science subjects.
- One year of relevant experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Good communication skills, including reading skills.
- An aptitude for math.
- Mechanical ability.
- Physical strength and stamina.
- The ability to work at heights.
- The ability to collaborate well with co-workers.
- The ability to stay updated with changing technology.
- Precision work skills.
