Machine Operator – Sachet Machine (Fresher A’ Level Jobs)

Key Duties and Responsibilities: As a Machine Operator for the Sachet Machine, your responsibilities include:

1. Setting up, adjusting, and operating sachet packaging machines according to production schedules and specifications.
2. Planning and executing preventive maintenance of production machines with assistance from the Engineering team.
3. Operating production machines efficiently to minimize wastage.
4. Controlling material wastage and promoting recycling.
5. Ensuring that the products produced meet quality standards.
6. Adhering to health and safety practices.
7. Overseeing housekeeping around the machine area.
8. Verifying materials provided to ensure correct amounts and appropriate materials.
9. Regularly inspecting machines to ensure they are in good operational condition.
10. Detecting and reporting any faults to the Plant Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic.
11. Performing any other duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: To be eligible for this role, you should have:

• A Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education with a bias in science subjects.
• One year of relevant experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Good communication skills, including reading skills.
• An aptitude for math.
• Mechanical ability.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• The ability to work at heights.
• The ability to collaborate well with co-workers.
• The ability to stay updated with changing technology.
• Precision work skills.
