Job Title: Warehouse Controller
Department: Warehouse Operations
Reports to / Title of Immediate Supervisor: Warehouse Manager
Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage all activities within the warehouse, ensuring efficient operations, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety standards.

- Suppliers
- Logistics partners
- Customers (in case of direct dispatch)
Internal Stakeholders:
- Warehouse staff
- Logistics team
- Procurement department
- Quality control team
Functional Outputs/Activities per key performance area:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies and losses.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Organize and optimize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all incoming and outgoing goods meet quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of goods to identify any damaged or expired items and take appropriate action.
- Health and Safety:
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Team Management (if applicable):
- Supervise warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, stock movements, and operational performance.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Recommend and implement technology solutions to streamline warehouse operations, such as inventory management systems.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum Experience:
- one year of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
