Job Title: National Content Intern
Organization: East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP)
Work Place: Kampala
Key responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on national content regulations, policies, and best practices within the energy and infrastructure sector.
- Analyze data and trends related to local workforce, suppliers, and service providers.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with local communities, businesses, and government entities to understand their needs and concerns.
- Assist in organizing and participating in engagement events and workshops.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Compile and maintain documentation related to national content compliance.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing key National Content metrics and achievements.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Support the monitoring of EACOP’s compliance with national content regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance compliance.
Capacity Building:
- Contribute to the design and execution of training programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities of local businesses and workers.
- Facilitate workshops on topics related to national content and local capacity development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing in a relevant degree program (e.g., business, economics, social sciences, Business Courses, Procurement) from recognized University
- Must provide Introduction letter from university and copy of student I.D.
- Must provide a partial transcript / testimonial showing current academic scores with a minimum of an
upper-second degree. - Must be available full-time for the duration of the internship period.
- Must write and submit an internship application letter.
