Job title: 3 Project Assistants

Location: Mbale, Soroti, Lira ,Arua ,Kampala ,Mbarara,Kabale ,Jinja
Roles and responsibilities:
- Ensure that all aspects of the project are dully attended to and completed at the right time, regardless of challenges that may be encountered;
- Carry out administrative duties by collecting data, sorting, filing and sending out project files to the right personnel, workers, and stakeholders;
- Track project progress and ensure that all issues related to the project are clarified and completed to avoid confusion and interruption during execution of the project;
- Keep records of all project items, and ensure that they are adequately delivered to the various project staff as directed by the Cluster Team Leader;
- Ensure that all logistics related to project work are processed and provided in due time to avoid interruption of project activities;
- Make arrangements for meetings, presentations, seminars and trainings being organized and call the attention of the Cluster Team Leader to them where and when they are needed.
- As a record keeper, he/she attends meetings with the Cluster Team Leader/Regional Project Manager and pays apt attention throughout to get details of items discussed at the meeting and run them by the Cluster Team Leader/ Regional Project Manager when needed;
- He/she will evaluate the nature and condition of the project and make useful suggestions to the Cluster Team Leader/ Regional Project Manager on the best practices and strategies to apply in project execution;
- Keep track of all project activities, and ensure that they constantly remind and intimate the Cluster Team Leader/Regional Project Manager of what needs to be done even when they have forgotten about it, in order to meet donor reporting deadlines.
Minimum qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Human Resources Management, Business administration, Project Planning and Management or a related field;
- Training in HIV/AIDS Counselling shall be an added advantage;
- 5 years experience working in an HIV/AIDS setting Required Experience and S
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Word Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
- Ability to pay attention to detail

- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to manage time effectively
