Job Title: 38 EMIS Assistants/Support Officers

Organization: Ministry of Education and Sports

Location: Local Governments

 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Train stakeholders (EMIS users and data suppliers) on utilization and management of EMIS
  • Provide technical support to education institutions and District Education Officers/ District Inspectors of schools during the capture/ upload of EMIS data on school and DEMIS portals respectively.
  • Undertake regular validation of data uploaded by Education institutions.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports on EMIS utilization and management.
  • Monitor EMIS data upload activities by education institutions to ensure all institutions are submitting accurate data on time in line with EMIS calendar
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Information Technology, Quantitative Economics, demography, population studies, or Social Science.
  • Experience in collection of data and management of data from education institutions
