Job Summary:

To establish and maintain contact/relationships with new and existing customers on routine account management activities, bank’s products and services.

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective and timely service to customers at all customer service units by demonstrating a customer friendly disposition at all times as per customer service Charter/Turn Around Time /Service Level Agreements and Standards.
  • Review account opening documents and ensure timely opening of the accounts on the system for all requests with the required documents or with the appropriate deferrals.
  • Prepare and submit both internal and external reports to relevant stakeholders as required from time to time.
  • Accurately and timely; process standing instructions, customers’ Cheque and card requests and ascertain ultimate delivery of cheques and cards to the customer
  • Respond to authorized/approved customers’ statements request by printing off-cycle customer statements, ensuring that charges are taken and in line with customer statement issuance guidelines
  • Accounts management and reactivation.
  • Cross sell bank products to potential customers in the event of Accounts Management and re-activation as well recommending potential customers to the Business Team.
  • Maintain up-to-date registers for customers’ transactions and instructions as required in line with existing policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all Bank internal and regulatory controls including those over customer records for zero fraud tolerance/error rates

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The ideal applicant must hold a degree from a recognized university (First and Second class honors) from a reputable University.
  • Prior experience is useful but not compulsory.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Smart appearance.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Selling skills.
  • Basic product knowledge.
  • Paying attention to details.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills.
  • Fast and error free processing.
  • Problem solving abilities.
