RxAll’s tech platform enables hospitals and pharmacies to authenticate medicine quality, digitise their operations end-to-end, and access financing for their purchase invoices.
Job Summary
The role holder will be a professional Credit Analyst who will be responsible to determine the credit worthiness of our RxPay customers. You will analyze financial data to assess the entity legitimacy, business sensibility, capacity to payback and secured collections of credit applications of RxPay business customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assess and make decisions about prospective and existing customers using a range of criteria including credit viability, customer payment history, credit reports and customer credit-worthiness.
- Gathering information about clients; reading financial documents; assessing, analysing and interpreting complicated financial information before financing customers’ credit applications on RxPay
- Visiting clients and undertaking risk analysis while keeping company’s credit exposures within set risk bearing limits
- Completing loan application forms and submitting to management for approval using credit-scoring systems for all credit amounts requested
- Examine financial transactions and credit history case by case (applications, statements, balance sheets, legal documents etc.)
- Monitoring customers trend and cash flows analyses and create projections
- Helping to enhance the quality of credit applications and making recommendations about procedural/policy changes
- Determine in depth the degree of risk involved in a customer’s credit request and keeping knowledge of key issues up-to-date (for example legal, market risk and compliance issues)
- Routinely monitor loans for compliance and carefully analyse customers business position, and produce a clear and objective reports
- Ensure that customers adhere to credit policy and guidelines and draft models of credit information that predict trends and patterns
- Prepare weekly credit committee reports and presentations for approval
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a credit analyst or worked in risk management within the microfinance banking sector in Uganda
- Up to date with legal, compliance and market risk related issues as it pertains to credit financing of SMES in Uganda
- Aware of the local credt bureaus and how to access them
- Experience managing and leading Credit Commitees
- Experience working on collections with adequate links to collection agencies across Kenya
- Ability to analyze cash flows, leverage, collateral and customer strength
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Sound judgement
- B.Sc. degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Economics, Financial Accounting, Statistics or related field
- Masters degree in Finance is a significant boost to your profile
- Strong capacity to use Excel & Office Suite for analysis and data presentations
Required Experience: Minimum of 2 – 4 years working experience
Salary: $240 to $400 Net / 840K UGX to 1.4M UGX Net
Schedule: Monday – Saturday
