ACE Energy Solutions Uganda Limited Profile

African Clean Energy (ACE) is a B-Corp certified enterprise that produces and distributes the ACE One solar-biomass hybrid energy system. A small-yet-powerful smokeless stove, it will virtually eradicate the catastrophic impact that traditional cooking and heating methods inflict on health, environment, and poverty in developing countries around the world, and provides electricity.

 

 

Job Summary:

ACE Energy Solutions Uganda Limited needs a diligent and enthusiastic Response Officer to work closely with the Branch Manager in Soroti, Uganda and the Regional Response Team Leader in Mbale. ACE Energy Solutions requires a motivated, ambitious and fast learner, someone who is proactive and flexible in the variety of tasks and functions they will perform.

 

 

Roles and responsibilities:

Key Activities:

  • Immediate Response to customer complaints as outlined and opened in SalesForce.
  • Effective Reporting of performed activities on assigned time intervals.
  • Ensure fixes done on the ACE components are effective and reliable.
  • Work with the Branch Manager to ensure that best practices are being taught and shared not only with fellow employees but also with Customers.
  • Collaborate with teams from other locations of ACE to ensure quality production of work.
  • Ensure all visits meet the values of ACE, plus! Work in line with the guidelines and policies of ACE.
  • Perform Delegated tasks to meet Maintenance schedules and satisfy employer and customer needs.

Other activities:

  • Effective communication with all key players within the maintenance circles i.e. customer relations department for positive results/customer satisfaction.
  • Perform troubleshooting to solve minor and major repair issues.
  • Ensuring that all Department workers adhere to the set SOPs/guidelines by making them known to fellow members/employees.
  • Full involvement in scheduled training for repairs in a specific outlined period of time.
  • Oversee Quality Control Procedures.
  • Moving to different spotted locations with intentions of extending customer service and care.
  • Any other tasks that are requested by the Branch Manager, Regional Response Team Leader, Regional Manager, Operations Director- EA and/or Regional Director-EA.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • A certificate in any technical field is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, Ateso, Kumam.
  • 1-year experience in a business-related environment.
  • 26-35 years of age.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • High commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to deliver accurate and timely reports.
  • Possess a valid motorcycle rider’s permit
