CHEDRA is a public health service delivery organization, partnering with the Makerere University Walter Reed Project (MUWRP) under the PEPFAR program to enhance HIV and TB prevention, care, and treatment services in Kayunga District.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enroll, screen, and layer services for eligible Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) in the program.
  • Supervise facilitators, artisans, and sub-county support staff involved in various program curriculums.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational and donor standards in program implementation.
  • Monitor activities conducted at model and community safe spaces.
  • Accurately report, monitor, and evaluate program activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teams and departments for effective program alignment.
  • Mobilize AGYW partners and deliver risk-based services.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Administration, Community Psychology, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Counseling and Guidance, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with the DREAMS Program.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
    • Experience managing programs and teams in a humanitarian context.
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Fluency in English and local languages.

Contract Details

  • Tenure: 10 months (possibility of extension based on funding).
  • Reports to: Programs Manager.
