Roles and Responsibilities:
- To manage effectively and efficiently the reinsurance claims function
- Register reinsurance claims.
- Review claim support documents shared.
- Recompute reinsurance share as per the signed placement slip.
- Process payment , communicate to the reinsurer.
- Timely notification of losses .
- Update reinsurers with all the required claim support documents except internal information.
- Keep a report on reinsurance claims.
- Advising finance on reinsurance claim payments made and keep receipts on claim files.
- Making of cash calls on the surplus claims that exceed the cash limit.
- Having an understanding on how to compute both facultative and treaty claims.
- Making of claim recoveries from other reinsurers
Minimum Qualifications
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (B): Actuarial Science (Required), Bachelors Degree (B): Business Administration/Management
