Uganda Girl Guides Association (UGGA) is a Voluntary Organization that is dedicated to empowering girls and young women’s growth, development and character. UGGA is a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. WAGGGS is the largest voluntary women’s Organization supporting over 10 million girls and young women across 150 Countries. Guiding helps girls realize their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world.

Job Summary:

It is up to program officers to supervise program progress and proposals, seek grants, manage projects, and oversee budgets. They generally guarantee that an organization’s activities and programs are met with the vision and mission statements of that foundation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage request for proposals (RFP) processes, and oversee contractors/vendors for research-relate activities.
• Participate in the overall strategy and development of installation plans, programs, and procedures to accomplish numerous housing privatization tasks.
• Assist with event logistics, including audio/visual and PowerPoint presentations, registrations and materials for events.
• Implementing programs and projects to help organizations meet goals and objectives
• Apply project management knowledge regarding development, staffing, budgeting and scheduling

Minimum Qualifications

• The ideal candidate for the Programs Officer job should hold relevant qualifications, skills and experience
