KEM Public Health Advocates Profile:

KEM Public Health Advocates is a registered not – profit organization that was founded in 2016 with an
agenda to empower communities with sustainable health living through implementation of Water,
Sanitation and Hygiene, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Youth Empowerment and General
health promotion.
We’re expanding our team and currently have exciting opportunities for highly passionate, motivated and
exceptional internees (graduates, finalists or students) in the following positions:

1. Public Health Interns
Positions: 05
Reports to: Public Health Officer

Main Responsibility:
To promote health
Roles and responsibilities
Advocate for better health
Respond to health disasters or other crisis situations
Collect and analyze data
Plan and conduct public health studies
Provide individual or group counseling
Refer patients or clients to assistance programs
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduates/ Finalists/ Students in Public Health, Environmental Health, Clinical and community medicine,
  Nursing or any related field.

2.  Information Technology (IT) Interns
Positions: 03
Reports to: Information Technology (IT) Officer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Taking care of the maintenance of IT systems;
• Design and develop promotional material: brochures, flyers, website, and social media designs.
• Manage Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google account. – Manage content for social media uploading as
  well as blogs/company updates
• Add company profiles on directories.
• Rebrand and manage all websites.
• Support the delivery of digital marketing activity to achieve the company targets and raise awareness of its products and services.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Graduates/ Finalists/ Students in Information Technology (IT), Information Systems, Computer software
  engineering or any computer-related field.

3. Editor Interns
Positions: 03
Reports to: Editor

Main Responsibilities:

• Writes or rewrites the appropriate headline for the copy, ensuring it reflects the overriding message of the
  story taking care not to merely state the obvious details.
• Re-writes the copy as necessary for simplicity, clarity and style
• Submits the edited copy to the Editor within set deadlines.
• Designs the editorial pages

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Graduates/ Finalists/ Students in Journalism and Mass Communication or any other related field

4. Graphics Designer Interns
Positions: 03
Reports to: Creative Graphics Designer

Role responsibilities:

• Create ad campaigns, digital layouts and all sorts of marketing materials
• Brand creation & development
• Product photography and image manipulation
• Illustration
• Undertaking project work from start to finish
• Any other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Graduates/ Finalists/ Students in Graphics Designing, IT or any other related field
