Job Summary
NSSF Internship Programme 2019: The NSSF Internship Programme has a limited number of 40 internship placements for eligible students wishing to join the intake this year. The National Social Security Fund provides a well-structured internship program every year that sets their interns up for success. Students have the opportunity to utilize their knowledge in a professional setting.
This is to invite online applications from interested students who are required to undertake internship in the month of June-July 2019.
As per the NSSF Internship guidelines, the Fund is seeking for students with the following disciplines. Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Auditing, and Statistics, Actuarial, Statistics, Actuarial, Information Technology, Computer Science, Procurement or any other related field.
About NSSF Uganda:
The National Social Security Fund (NSSF Uganda) is a National Saving Scheme mandated by Government through the National Social Security Fund Act, Cap 222 (Laws of Uganda) to provide social security services to employees in Uganda. NSSF Uganda is a Provident Fund and covers employees in the private sector. The Fund is a contributory scheme and is funded by contributions from employees and employers of 5% and 10% respectively of the employee’s gross monthly wage.
Eligibility
- The NSSF internship programme is only for continuing students offering first degrees who MUST have a letter of recommendation from their respective university.
- Students who have done an internship at NSSF in the past should not apply.
- Successful Students will be deployed in any of the Branch Offices in the country.
How to Apply
All interested students will be required to undertake an online assessment through the link that will be provided. The link will be accessible on the Fund’s website www.nssfug.org on Friday, 19th April 2019 from 3:00pm-4:20pm . Thereafter; the internship assessment link will be disabled.
Your User ID shall be your email address. Ensure that at registration, you select Intern 2019.
You will require a stable internet source.
Successful candidates will be contacted within one week after the assessment. Please note that canvassing or lobbying will lead to automatic disqualification of the Applicant.
