About the Role:
MTN Uganda seeks an Analyst – Revenue Assurance to enhance revenues, minimize leakage, and support operations infrastructure for Revenue Assurance controls. Reporting to the Manager of Revenue Assurance, the successful candidate will help implement strategies, manage risk frameworks, and improve operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the Revenue Assurance strategy and align it with the Fintech strategy.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders to monitor control implementation and performance.
- Operational Framework Planning:
- Collaborate with MTN Group Fintech RA COE to design and implement new control systems.
- Ensure timely execution of operational frameworks while balancing stakeholder needs.
- Operations Management:
- Monitor Shared Service infrastructure, ensuring high-quality control performance.
- Analyze control results, perform root cause analyses, and manage resolutions for incidents.
- Incident Management:
- Manage and escalate revenue and cost-impacting incidents.
- Ensure timely resolution and reporting of incidents, quantifying leakage risks and benefits.
- Technology & Continuous Improvement:
- Act as a key customer for Revenue Assurance technology, overseeing specification and implementation.
- Propose operational improvements and manage risk reduction initiatives.
- Stakeholder & Audit Management:
- Support relationships with internal and external stakeholders for service performance.
- Assist in audits, ensuring prompt issue resolution and effective governance.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports and escalate critical issues.
- Track leakages, maintain evidence, and support governance processes.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Law, or Computer Science (B.Com/B.Acc/LLB/B.Sc).
- Preferred: CISA/CISM certification.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, databases, and advanced Excel is an advantage.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years in Fintech or a complex telecommunications environment.
- Strong understanding of governance systems and data analytics.
