Job Overview

Oneo Group Pty Ltd is seeking a System Integration Engineer to develop and maintain data integrations, ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and system reliability. This role involves working with clients, troubleshooting data pipelines, and refining technologies for scalability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data integrations for key systems, prioritizing reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Optimize integration pipelines, including databases, ETL processes, and API connections.
• Design, implement, troubleshoot, and monitor data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Continuously refine the technology stack for enhanced performance, security, and scalability.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance on data integration and systems engineering.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, manage new data integrations, and provide progress updates.
• Communicate technical concepts related to databases and integrations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in team discussions, cross-functional meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to improve processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Experience:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, or related fields.
• Strong background in systems engineering, data integration, and data pipeline optimization.
• Experience designing, troubleshooting, and monitoring data pipelines for quality and integrity.
• Proven ability to work with clients to meet integration requirements effectively.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Work Conditions

• Work Hours: 8 hours per day
• Experience: Minimum of 60 months (5 years)
