Job Summary

The Graduate Trainee-Dealer is responsible for trading in equity, fixed income, commodity, money, and currency markets. The role is individually accountable for achieving results through personal efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor equity, fixed income, commodity, money, and currency markets.
• Collect and disseminate information impacting financial markets.
• Receive and implement buying and selling orders.
• Develop and execute strategies to ensure equitable allocation of trades among portfolio managers.
• Communicate effectively with local and international stockbrokers.
• Maintain and optimize trading systems while building financial models.
• Identify trading opportunities to enhance investment performance.

Skills and Competencies

• Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of equity, fixed income, and currency markets.
• Technical and Quantitative Analysis: Expertise in analyzing market trends and data.
• Problem-Solving and Visualization: Ability to analyze and present data effectively.
• Communication Skills: Proficiency in clear communication and trading platform use.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid foundation in Economics, Mathematical Computation, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (required).
• Experience: Prior experience in Fund Management is an added advantage.
