Role Overview
As a Regional Training Officer (RTO), your main responsibility will be training and empowering the sales team, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills required to achieve their sales targets. This is a travel-intensive role (80% travel), with work based primarily in your assigned region and regular visits to support sales teams in other regions as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in recruiting and selecting new sales agents for the region.
- Schedule and conduct onboarding for new sales agents, including orientation and training on the sales process.
- Develop and follow a training curriculum, ensuring training sessions align with the outlined curriculum.
- Perform weekly data clean-up to ensure sales agents are accurately mapped to their respective clusters.
- Use data from Business Intelligence (BI) and Learning Management Platforms to create individual coaching plans.
- Provide direct coaching to sales agents by observing their fieldwork and offering guidance.
- Identify skill gaps among sales agents by spending time with them in the field, providing targeted recommendations.
- Develop training materials, conduct sessions, and evaluate effectiveness, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Support training financial objectives by adhering to budget allocations and controlling costs.
- Align all training with the sales strategy and report on the program’s impact.
- Develop and upload training courses to the learning management system, assigning them to relevant departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience and Skills:
- Passion for developing and empowering team members.
- Willingness to gain hands-on experience in tasks before training others.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable with small to medium-sized groups.
- Adaptability and experience working in a dynamic environment.
- Budget management skills for regional and departmental allocations.
- Experience with solar/off-grid pump systems, start-up environments, and experiential training is a plus.
- Sales experience and a valid driving license are added advantages.

- Job Hours: 8 hours per day
