Job Description
ICEA Lion Uganda is seeking five qualified Life Insurance Unit Managers to oversee and lead sales teams, ensure productivity, and meet business targets in the life insurance sector. The ideal candidates will bring strong sales acumen, team management experience, and a background in insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of insurance sales agents to achieve sales targets
- Drive and implement effective marketing and sales strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners, including Bancassurance partners
- Prepare and analyze reports on team performance and productivity
- Provide mentorship and training to enhance team skills and effectiveness
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Professional qualification in insurance or a related field is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing and sales
- Prior experience in team management and Bancassurance is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Proven track record in meeting productivity and sales targets
