Position Overview
Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (BPIL), a leader in Uganda’s poultry industry, is seeking a qualified Human Resource Business Partner to support BPIL’s HR initiatives, employee engagement, talent acquisition, and welfare management.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring BPIL attracts and retains top talent.
- Performance Management: Support performance management programs, developing tools to continuously enhance productivity.
- Employee Engagement: Improve work relationships, morale, and productivity by organizing engagement and wellness activities.
- Skills Development: Oversee skills development programs, including the Graduate Trainee Program, internships, and mentoring, while managing HR risk.
- Benefits & Welfare: Administer the company’s welfare and benefits schemes, including insurance, meals, incentives, and bonus programs.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze employee metrics (attrition, engagement, satisfaction) to inform HR strategy.
- Culture Transformation: Promote BPIL’s vision, mission, and values across the organization.
- Internal Communications: Manage internal communications, including memos, policy updates, and announcements.
- Staff Supervision: Coach and mentor line reports, managing their performance effectively.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.
- Membership in a recognized HR professional body.
- 6-7 years of experience in a similar role in a dynamic commercial setting.
