Job Summary:
Ufundi Bora Furniture Ltd is hiring Sales and Marketing Executives to drive sales efforts and establish strong relationships with customers. The successful candidates will be responsible for meeting sales targets, analyzing market trends, implementing retail plans, and handling customer relations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Meet weekly and monthly sales volume targets.
2. Collect and compile market statistics on prices, stock levels, brand availability, and supply sources.
3. Analyze trends and variances, prepare weekly reports, and initiate corrective actions after monthly performance reviews.
4. Implement retail-level plans such as signage delivery and price communication.
5. Identify customer needs, document complaints, and follow up on their resolution.
6. Receive customer orders and assist in the timely collection of payments.
7. Participate in sales forecasts and plan preparations.
8. Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
9. Perform other assigned tasks related to the role.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing from a recognized university or its equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience in a similar field is an added advantage.

Other Technical & Job-Related Skills:

1. Report writing skills.
2. Basic computer skills, especially Excel and Microsoft Word.
3. Good analytical skills, including understanding basic profit and loss calculations.
4. Excellent communication skills for both face-to-face and telephone interactions.

Profile & Personal Qualities:

1. Self-driven and results-oriented.
2. Able to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
3. Comfortable dealing with people and a good listener.
4. Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
5. Willing to work extended hours when required.
6. Strong verbal communication skills.
7. Flexibility to work anywhere within Uganda is an added advantage.

Job Experience:

• No prior experience required, although relevant experience is a plus.

Work Hours: 8 hours per day
Level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree
