Job Summary:
As the Lead Events and Community Spaces at MoTIV, you will strategically plan, coordinate, and execute events, ensuring the optimal use and management of MoTIV’s creative spaces. Your goal is to create high-impact, memorable experiences for MoTIV’s community of creatives, entrepreneurs, and partners, aligning events and space usage with MoTIV’s mission to foster innovation, collaboration, and community building.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Management
   • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute an annual events calendar supporting MoTIV’s vision, including community festivals, workshops, product launches, and more.
   • Event Execution: Plan, coordinate, and oversee events, ensuring efficient delivery, target attendance, and value creation.
   • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, sponsors, and partners for seamless event delivery.
   • Event Promotion: Work with the marketing team to promote events and ensure strong engagement from the MoTIV community and external audiences.
2. Community Space Management
   • Maximizing Space Utilization: Manage MoTIV’s creative spaces (event venues, co-working spaces, maker spaces, and studios) to their full potential.
   • Scheduling and Bookings: Oversee space bookings, balancing needs of internal teams, community members, and external partners.
   • Space Design and Setup: Collaborate with design and facilities teams to ensure spaces are creatively designed and conducive to collaboration.
   • Maintenance Oversight: Ensure spaces are well-maintained, safe, and ready for use, coordinating with the facilities team to address any issues.
3. Community Engagement and Experience Curation
   • Curating Unique Experiences: Design and deliver community experiences aligned with MoTIV’s values, fostering creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship.
   • Community Building: Engage with MoTIV members and partners to create initiatives that strengthen the community. Use participant feedback to improve events and space experiences.
   • Brand Alignment: Ensure events and experiences are consistent with MoTIV’s brand and contribute to its reputation as a leader in the creative and entrepreneurial sectors.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in event management, space management, or hospitality, with a preference for creative or entrepreneurial environments.
• Track Record: Proven experience in managing large-scale and community-focused events, with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative and Strategic Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and execute engaging events and space experiences reflecting MoTIV’s mission.
