Job Overview:
AEGY Uganda is seeking a Project Accounts Assistant to support financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile the organization’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
- Complete analysis of employee expenditures.
- Manage income and expenditure accounts.
- Generate the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data.
- Monitor the company’s finances based on financial status.
- File and remit taxes and other financial obligations.
- Initiate and manage financial and accounting software used by the company.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with accounting software and data entry.
- Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from a recognized university.
Work Hours:
- 8 hours per day.
