SEAOWL is seeking a Source Inspection/Expediting Engineer responsible for ensuring efficient procurement, expediting, and quality surveillance in line with company standards. The position requires strong technical, analytical, and commercial skills, with a proven track record in the oil and gas industry. The role focuses on overseeing supplier and contractor activities, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. General:
    • Adhere to Company “Code of Conduct” and HSE rules.
    • Ensure compliance with HSE training and regulations in the designated area.
  2. Procurement, Subcontracting, and Expediting:
    • Oversee the progress of suppliers and subcontractors from procurement initiation to the delivery of materials.
    • Participate in post-award expediting, including monitoring supplier activities and organizing regular progress meetings.
    • Coordinate weekly and monthly procurement and subcontracting meetings.
    • Support the implementation of National Content strategy by ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  3. Source Inspection & Quality Surveillance:
    • Monitor the quality control activities of Contractors, Suppliers, and Vendors, focusing on source inspection requirements.
    • Coordinate Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM) and remind subcontractors and vendors of contractual quality commitments.
    • Assist in planning surveillance resources and tools for inspection activities.
    • Review quality control plans, inspection documents, and ensure they meet Company expectations.
    • Participate in Contractor quality investigations or audits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Engineer or Technical Degree (relevant experience may compensate for lower-level education).
  • Minimum 7 years of project experience within the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, procurement, subcontracting, and supply chain management.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and commercial skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in challenging project environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Work Hours:

Full-time, 8-hour workdays.
