SEAOWL is hiring an IA Precom Supervisor Piping to oversee the preparation and construction activities in oil and gas infrastructure projects. The role involves supervising contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and participating in technical reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Construction Preparation:
    • Review engineering documents from contractors and provide timely feedback.
    • Ensure comments are incorporated by the contractor and participate in technical reviews.
    • Anticipate and mitigate risks in the construction process.
  2. Contractor Control:
    • Oversee piping erection quality on-site, ensuring it meets contract requirements.
    • Verify EPC contractor’s QHSE practices are acceptable and properly implemented.
    • Ensure quality assurance records are documented and maintained by the contractor.
    • Assess contractor deviations from quality control procedures and recommend actions.
  3. Reporting:
    • Report any discipline-related issues to the Piping & Vessel Engineer.
    • Prepare daily reports and maintain communication with replacement staff.
    • Participate in weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc meetings with contractors.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: HND/Diploma or equivalent in mechanical or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, specifically in infrastructure/construction projects.
  • Previous HSE Supervisory experience is required.
  • Familiarity with Total group standards or experience with major IOC construction projects is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
  • Ability to provide safety training and awareness courses.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in analyzing safety data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to proactively solve problems.

Work Hours: 8 hours per day.

Experience Required: 12 years (144 months).
Level of Education: Associate Degree.
