Egis, an international leader in consulting, construction engineering, and mobility services, is seeking a Financial Controller to manage financial operations and provide strategic financial guidance across its diverse portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations while ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic financial oversight.
- Maintain financial integrity, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure adherence to accounting standards, financial guidelines, and PFMA 2015.
- Assist in budget management, implement cost control measures, and manage outsourced accounting functions.
- Maintain banking relationships, ensure sufficient operational funds, and oversee capital structure decisions.
- Provide variance reports on budgets, recommend financial improvements, and compile key business metrics for management.
- Participate in target costing activities, capital budgeting, and prepare internal reports.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, manage invoices, reconcile intercompany transactions, and prepare cash forecasts.
- Overhaul finance protocols and strategies, and engage in benchmarking studies to improve operational performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in large corporations.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and compliance obligations.
- CPA certification is desirable.
