Lugazi Diocese is seeking Data Register Clerks to support the data collection and documentation function within the DREAMS project in Kayunga. The role involves working closely with the Data Officer to ensure that accurate and complete data is collected, captured, and reported on time.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in data entry and documentation, particularly in health facilities or Safe Spaces.
- Collaborate with the Data Officer to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Maintain familiarity with DREAMS service tools and support documentation.
- Ensure that DREAMS data is clean, complete, and timely captured.
Other Desired Attributes:
- Familiarity with UDOTS, EMR, or medical record systems is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Statistics, Medical Records, or a related field.
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel, DHIS2-based systems, and other data collection and reporting tools is preferred.
- Prior experience in data entry and documentation in a health facility or Safe Space setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to reside in the rural areas of Kayunga.
Supervisory Controls:
The Data Register Clerks will report to and work under the immediate supervision of the Data Officer.
