Raising The Village (RTV), an international development organization, is hiring 2 Regional Managers to oversee the successful execution of programmatic implementations across Uganda. This role involves extensive travel (75%) and will report to the Senior Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
- Oversee program implementation across districts, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Manage all phases of program design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Act as a senior government liaison with district and local authorities.
- Support resource planning, staff allocations, and risk mitigation.
Process Improvement:
- Identify program improvement opportunities.
- Lead change management initiatives and reporting tool enhancements.
Staff Training & Development:
- Provide on-ground training, mentorship, and skill development for program staff.
- Conduct team management training and support the adoption of best practices.
Other Duties:
- Support in-country partnerships, site visits, and senior leadership representation.
- Contribute to strategic plans and organizational pivots.
Key Deliverables (Next 6 Months):
- Launch and implement clusters in respective districts.
- Scale up new district teams.
- Ensure the successful execution of Ready-To-Eat and VSLA initiatives.
- Timely submission of quality reports and effective risk management.
Qualifications:
- 8–10 years of progressive management experience in NGOs or international development organizations.
- BA in development, business management, or related field; MA preferred.
- Experience in financial and project management is an asset.
